Sikkens Cetol Filter 7 Plus

A premium oil-based translucent timber finish designed for exterior timber surfaces including windows, doors, cladding, fascias, pergolas, gates, fences, and timber joinery.
Formulated with advanced UV filters, it helps protect timber from harsh Australian weather while enhancing the natural grain and beauty of the wood.

Recommended Use

Designed as the finishing top coat over:

• 1 coat of Sikkens Cetol HLSe
• Followed by 2 coats of Filter 7 Plus

Ideal for:

• Gates, fences & rails
• Exterior joinery

Not suitable for decking, walk-on surfaces, or seating.

• Smooth timber: approximately 10–16m²/L
• Rough sawn timber: approximately 6–8m²/L

Application Notes

• Ready to use — no thinning required
• Apply by brush along the timber grain
• Allow 24 hours between coats
• Apply only when timber moisture content is below 15%
• Recommended application temperature: 5°C–35°C

Maintenance

For ongoing maintenance, apply 1–2 refresher coats as required depending on exposure and weathering conditions.
